How to enable Access Approval in JumpServer?
Note: Available only in the Enterprise version.
Verify that the ticketing system is enabled in the settings: System Setting - Feature Enable - Ticket (see screenshot)
Users will see an icon "Tickets" in the upper-right corner of the interface.
To request access, users need to click on the "Tickets" icon, choose "My Tickets" and click "Request tickets" - "Request asset perm." Fill out the form, specifying the devices and user accounts for which access is needed, and indicate file transfer permissions (see screenshot).
After submitting the request, users can track its status in the "My Tickets" section. Administrators will also see the request in the same section and can approve or reject it.
