IT and cybersecurity: selection, PoC and deployment

Software and hardware selection, demonstrations, PoCs, architecture, migration, training and technical support.

Software and hardware solution selection

Our specialists can join at any stage: comparing options, preparing a budget, running a PoC, migrating a system or training the team. The scope and expected result of every stage are agreed in advance.

We start with the requirement rather than the catalogue: current infrastructure, risks, regulatory constraints, timeline, available skills and budget. The first consultation produces a shortlist, assessment questions and a practical next step — demonstration, PoC or initial sizing. Reliable integrators and solution providers from our partner network can join delivery.

What selection includes

  • interviews with IT, security and process owners;
  • current-state and target architecture;
  • mandatory and desirable requirements;
  • solution shortlist and compliance matrix;
  • compatibility and constraint assessment;
  • preliminary sizing for compute, storage and networking;
  • licence and support estimate;
  • demonstration or PoC plan.

Demonstration and proof of concept

A demonstration answers “how does it work?” A PoC answers “will it work in our infrastructure and meet agreed criteria?” Before testing, we define scenarios, data, integrations, owners, dates and measurable success conditions. The outcome is documented with conclusions and open questions.

Architecture and deployment

  • architecture and capacity sizing;
  • installation and initial configuration;
  • directory, SIEM, DLP, CI/CD and business-system integrations;
  • data and process migration;
  • clustering, backup and recovery;
  • customer-specific operational documentation.

Hardware and complete workplace infrastructure

When software alone is not enough, AFI and its partners prepare an integrated configuration. Application requirements are linked to compute, storage, networks, resilience and operating conditions so equipment is selected as part of the architecture.

We can select and supply servers, NAS/SAN and object storage, network equipment, load balancers and firewalls, branch and communications equipment, workstations, laptops, monitors, peripherals, power protection and rack infrastructure.

Specialist training

Training is based on practical operation: architecture, installation and upgrades, roles and policies, routine administration, monitoring, diagnostics, backup and disaster recovery. Programmes can be adapted for administrators, security specialists, developers, first-line support or users and delivered before, during or after implementation.

Request an initial consultation

You do not need a finished specification for the first conversation; a description of the requirement, scale and key constraints is enough.
